Promote the mission and vision of MEGT through communications with members which may include but is not limited to newsletters, blog postings, social media posts, flyers, etc. 

Ideally this group would produce a bi-monthly publication published on the following schedule: Sept/Oct, Nov/Dec, 

Jan/Feb, Mar/Apr, May/June, July/Aug

The Conference Committee oversees all aspects of the annual Conference including: design of conference theme and logo; creation of conference program, registration materials, call for proposals, development of promotional materials, and arrangements for speakers.

As advocacy is a central function of the Board, a Legislative Committee shall be a standing subcommittee of the Board and shall initiate the legislative agenda and draft potential legislative requests for review by the larger Board.

An Executive Committee shall consist of all serving officers. The Executive Committee will initiate policies and actions for Board consideration and develop an agenda for each meeting.

The Executive Committee shall consist of the president, vice president, the secretary, the treasurer, and the past president. 

The Executive Committee shall meet prior to the first meeting of the Board of Directors to review and revise the vision of MEGT for the coming year and to review and make recommendations for the budget for the coming year. The Executive Committee shall make recommendations for committee appointments in partnership with the president during this meeting prior to the first convening of a new Board of Directors.
