Awards
MEGT offers several awards that recognize excellence and support within the gifted education community. These include the Friend of the Gifted Award (1997-present) and the Star of the North Award (2012-present), which honor outstanding contributions. We formerly awarded the Nicholas Green Distinguished Student Award (1999–2011).
We also support professional growth through MEGT's IMPACT Foundation's conference scholarship/grant, which helps educators attend our annual conference and strengthen their practice.
These awards and grants celebrate impact, dedication, and commitment to gifted education across Minnesota.
